TangoDown BG-17 Battlegrip

The TangoDown BG-17 Battlegrip is a duty-grade AR pistol grip designed around hard-use rifles where reliability and hand fill matter more than weight savings. The grip body is larger than typical Magpul or BCM offerings, with a fuller profile that fills medium-to-large hands and gives shooters in tactical gloves the volume they need. The 27-degree grip angle keeps it closer to a traditional A2-style wrist position than the steeper modern vertical grips.

Construction is injection-molded heat- and impact-modified polymer designed to survive drops, weather, and rough handling. An integrated storage compartment with a positive-latching door (not a friction-fit plug) holds spare batteries, cleaning patches, or a small parts kit, with the door staying shut under recoil and field handling. The aggressive ribbed texture wraps the entire grip surface, providing positive purchase in wet, dusty, or sweaty conditions without the lint-trap behavior of rubber overmolding. The BG-17 uses a 27-degree angle and fits AR/M4/M16, many AR-10/SR-25/MK11, and SCAR 16S/17S style receivers that accept AR-pattern grips.

Its price puts the BG-17 above the Magpul and BCM value tier but below the premium grip price point. The value proposition is the storage compartment, the larger body, and the duty-grade construction. If your hands fall on the smaller end or you prefer minimal weight, a Magpul K2 or B5 Type 23 is the better pick. For shooters who want a duty grip that fills the hand and survives abuse, the BG-17 is the answer.
