Overview
Operator II is the pattern VZ calls its bestselling grip, first designed in 2008. It splits the panel into two textures: an aggressive Recon texture on the front third, where the fingers wrap, and VZ's traditional diagonal Operator ball cuts across the rest.
This G10 set is cut for the Taurus large frame. VZ lists the Raging Hunter, Tracker, and Judge as fits and excludes the compact Judge Public Defender.
Key Features
- Recon texture on the front third, Operator diagonal ball cuts on the rest
- VZ's bestselling grip pattern
- Fits the Taurus Raging Hunter, Tracker, and Judge
- Moisture-resistant G10 laminate that will not become brittle or soften over time
- Made by VZ Grips in Tallahassee, Florida
Pros
- +VZ's bestselling pattern: Recon texture up front, diagonal ball cuts behind
- +Fits the Raging Hunter, Tracker, and Judge large frame
- +Moisture-resistant G10 will not become brittle or soften over time
Cons
- −Hard G10 replaces the Raging Hunter's factory cushioned grip insert, so it gives up that recoil cushioning
