Midwest Industries built the Kuna SD M-LOK Handguard for the Springfield Armory Kuna as a one-piece free-float handguard machined from 6061 aluminum and hard coat anodized. It is 8 inches long overall and adds 4.5 inches to the gun.

The inside diameter is 1.850 inches, which Midwest Industries says allows a 1.8-inch diameter suppressor while still using the top row of M-LOK slots, depending on the suppressor's geometry. A T-marked MIL-STD 1913 top rail carries optics or sights, and the handguard ships with one five-slot M-LOK polymer rail section.
