The Midwest Industries Combat Rail 7" is the ultra-compact variant of MI's popular Combat Rail series, specifically designed for short-barrel builds including .300 Blackout PDW configurations, Honey Badger-style platforms, and other compact applications. At just 6.8 ounces and 8 inches overall length including the mounting hardware, this handguard provides maximum maneuverability while maintaining the quality construction and features Midwest Industries is known for.

Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with black anodizing, the 7" Combat Rail features a full high-quality T-marked 1913 Picatinny rail on top for optics and backup sights, with M-LOK compatibility on the sides and bottom for accessory mounting. Two integral anti-rotation QD sling sockets are built into the rear of the handguard, providing flexible sling mounting options without requiring additional hardware. The super slim 1.5" outside diameter and 1.3" inside diameter create a comfortable grip profile that works well for modern shooting techniques.

Installation is straightforward with the included barrel nut, wrench, and 4140 heat-treated torque plate. The package includes a 5-slot polymer M-LOK rail section for immediate accessory mounting. The 7" length is ideal for 8.5" to 10.5" barrels, providing enough real estate for essential accessories like lights and grips while keeping the overall package as compact as possible. This handguard is particularly popular for .300 Blackout builds where suppressor use is common and barrel lengths are typically 8-9 inches.
