Overview

The 3M PELTOR ComTac VI NIB Hearing Defender package includes both a foldable headband and ARC rail adapters. That lets the same ear protection run as a conventional headset or attach to a compatible ARC-rail helmet. Gel cushions are included.

This hearing-defender model has no radio downlead. The ComTac VI family also includes separate single-communication and dual-communication models with radio leads. Natural Interaction Behavior, or NIB, lets nearby enabled headsets share audio wirelessly without an external tactical radio.
