AMP Communication Headset

The Ops-Core AMP is a benchmark tactical communication headset. At about $1,600 for the connectorized model, it is firmly in the professional-grade category, but for shooters building serious helmet setups or requiring radio integration, it delivers an unusually strong combination of protection, clarity, and modularity.

The AMP can be configured for NFMI (Near Field Magnetic Induction) earplugs that sit inside the ear canal, separate from the over-ear cups. That optional dual-layer setup sends audio directly to the ear while the cups provide passive noise reduction, resulting in clearer comms in extreme noise environments. Environmental listening mode processes ambient sound through the cups, maintaining full situational awareness.

The connectorized design accepts push-to-talk leads for many military and commercial radio systems. Optional helmet-mount hardware integrates with Ops-Core FAST, Team Wendy, and compatible ARC rail systems. The cups can swing up when mounted to a helmet, and the headset runs on AAA lithium batteries with long runtime for extended range or field use.
