Skunkwerks
Mail-in machining service that makes an SP9A1 run an AR-15 forced reset trigger: the upper is cut for FRT reset clearance, a steel trip connector is fitted, and the buffer is trimmed.
The Skunkwerks Stribog SP9A1 Forced Reset Conversion is the turnkey path to a working FRT in a direct-blowback SP9A1. An AR-15 forced reset trigger resets off the AR bolt carrier's trip surface, and the short flat Stribog bolt has none, so a bare FRT dropped into an aftermarket lower will not force-reset. Skunkwerks machines the upper for FRT reset clearance, manufactures a steel trip connector so the Stribog bolt trips the FRT reset lever on the way into battery, and trims the buffer for trip-connector clearance.
This is a mail-in service, not a shipped part. The customer supplies the firearm plus an aftermarket Lingle or A3 lower and their own forced reset trigger; Skunkwerks does not sell, loan, or provide FRT devices. The base service does not include refinishing of the machined areas. Skunkwerks holds an 07 FFL with an 02 SOT, so even an SBR-registered Stribog can be shipped in for the work.
The service is specific to the SP9A1. Roller-delayed A3 owners who want to do the fitting themselves use a separate trip sled instead. Budget for the lower and the FRT on top of the $200 service, and expect small-batch lead times; the listing is often sold out.
