Titan Extended Magazine Release (Taurus TX22)

The factory TaurusTX 22 magazine release sits low and shallow enough that most shooters have to shift their grip to reach it, which is a real cost on a gun that is otherwise a natural fit for Steel Challenge and rimfire steel matches. The Titan replaces it with a taller aircraft-grade aluminum button that the shooting-hand thumb can find without rolling the pistol in the hand.

Installation is drop-in. The factory release comes out and the Titan goes in with no fitting, no filing, and no permanent modification to the frame, which keeps the pistol reversible to stock. Aluminum keeps the added weight negligible while outlasting the factory part under repeated hard presses.

TANDEMKROSS lists it for all four TaurusTX 22 variants: the standard TX22, the TX22 Competition, the TX22 Compact, and the TX22 Generation 2. Black and red anodize are offered and are functionally identical, so the choice is cosmetic. Pair it with the Wingman +5 base pads to get faster reloads on both ends of the gun, since a taller release only helps if the fresh magazine seats cleanly.
