The Glock 21 Gen4 factory magazine holds 13 rounds of .45 ACP, matching or exceeding the capacity of full-size competitors like the Springfield XD-M Elite (.45, 13rd) and exceeding the H&K USP (.45, 12rd) and 1911 government (8rd). The polymer construction follows Glock's standard OEM design with a steel liner.

The G30S uses the same magazine as the G21 Gen4; the shorter G30S grip accommodates the same magazine body with an extended portion that protrudes slightly. This magazine is .45 ACP specific and NOT interchangeable with Glock 9mm or .40 S&W magazines.
