Overview
The Primary Arms GLx 6X Magnifier is the current high-power magnifier in the Primary Arms lineup. It brings 6x magnification to a red-dot setup with a listed 7.2 oz optic body, 2.5 inches of eye relief, and a 19.1 ft field of view at 100 yards.
Unlike the SLx 3X Micro, the GLx 6X is built for shooters who are deliberately trading some close-range forgiveness for more target identification at distance. The included SLx flip-to-side mount supports 1.535 in and 1.64 in heights out of the box, with a separate riser available for 1.93 in setups.
Pick it when you want more reach behind a red dot or 1x prism without switching to an LPVO. If your rifle is primarily close-range or you prioritize a forgiving eyebox, stay with a 3x magnifier.
