Overview
Samson's RSR-2 replaces the AK rear sight with an all-steel mount cut for the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 footprint, so a Micro-pattern dot bolts directly over the rear sight base with no rail or ring in between. A rear sight notch stays in the part for a co-witness off the front post.
Samson lists the same footprint for the Aimpoint Comp M5, H1/H2, Holosun 403/503/515, SIG Romeo4/5, and other Micro-pattern sights, and builds separate versions for the Aimpoint ACRO and Trijicon Compact ACOG. It measures 5 inches long and does not fit Krinkov-style rear sights.
