Overview
The AK Master Mount rear-bias mount clamps to a standard AKM side rail with a recessed QD throw lever and what the maker calls Dual Axis Locking: a rotating lever plus a two-spring clamp bar, adjusted through a 12-sided tension bolt. The top is a combined Picatinny and ACOG-base rail, so a red dot or an ACOG-footprint sight mounts without an adapter.
The rail is 1.75 inches long and sits toward the rear of the receiver, which keeps the optic low over the bore and leaves the iron sights usable. AK Master Mount builds the AKM versions for standard side rails only; Yugo/Zastava rails and Century's proprietary rail take different parts.
