The CMMG PS90 SBR conversion barrel uses an M12x1.0 left-hand metric muzzle thread, which is non-standard for the US suppressor market. This adapter from CMMG converts that proprietary thread to 1/2x28 right-hand so any 5.7x28-rated suppressor can mount direct-thread.
This adapter is needed only on CMMG-converted PS90 SBR builds. The Shaw 10.4-inch barrel ships with native 1/2x28 threads, and the Dorin shroud exposes 1/2x28 on the factory 16-inch barrel; neither needs this adapter. If you are running the CMMG kit specifically, this $70 adapter is the gateway to suppressor compatibility.
