The EFK Fire Dragon threaded barrel gives the FN Five-seveN a 5.5-inch barrel with an M10x1.0 right-hand muzzle thread. It drops into the USG, IOM, Mk II, Mk 3, and MRD versions of the pistol.
The raw barrel thread is M10x1.0 RH. EFK includes an adapter that changes that interface to 1/2x28 for a compatible muzzle device. The adapter does not change the thread cut into the barrel, so direct-thread devices must match the interface that is actually exposed.
EFK machines the barrel from 416R stainless steel, heat treats it to 40-42 Rc, and uses conventional 1:9 right-hand button rifling. The maker directs owners to complete a 150-round break-in before attaching a muzzle device and to use new factory ammunition.
