The DEFENDER is built for the shooter who wants a better slimline Glock trigger without changing what the gun does when the striker falls. It ships fully assembled: a polished trigger bar with a smooth trigger shoe, a trigger housing with trigger spring and polished ejector, a polished minus connector, a polished firing pin safety and spring, an OEM firing pin spring, and replacement spring cups. Every spring weight is OEM, which is the point. Pull weight stays in factory territory and the factory striker-energy spec is preserved rather than reduced; what changes is the grit. Function-test the finished pistol with your carry ammunition regardless.

The smooth shoe is the other deliberate choice. The factory slimline trigger is serrated, and on a small gun with a short trigger reach those serrations bite under a fast press. The DEFENDER replaces them with a flat, smooth face.
