Slickster

The Ferro Slickster is the carrier most low-vis builds start with. At 14.2 oz in size M it is among the lightest mainstream plate carriers, and the Carry Elastic Cummerbund (CEC) pulls flat enough under a jacket or PT shirt that it disappears in plain clothes. The shell is laminated rather than MOLLE-stitched, which is what keeps the weight down and gives the Slickster its smooth signature look.

The ADAPT flap ecosystem is what separates the Slickster from cheaper slick carriers. Hidden G-Hook slots on the laminated front accept Ferro's ADAPT flaps — a 3-mag placard, an admin flap, or split-front placards that pair with a chest rig hidden behind. The same flaps mount on the FCPC V5 above it, which means a Slickster owner who upgrades does not lose their accessories.

Ferro sells two base variants: the standard Slickster ($165) with the pouch-style rear and the Slickster MOLLE Base ($175) with a PALS rear for users who want to mount external pouches. Both ship with the CEC. Color availability cycles, with MultiCam Black, Coyote, and Wolf Grey moving fastest; Ranger Green in size L is sold out as of this writing.
