Mossberg 930 SPX

The Mossberg 930 SPX is the original tactical gas-operated semi-auto from Mossberg, predating the 940 Pro Tactical by nearly a decade. It uses a dual-vent gas system that self-regulates across load types and ships with 8+1 factory capacity, a factory-installed Picatinny rail, and adjustable ghost ring sights. At roughly $699 street, it undercuts every other gas-operated tactical shotgun here. The tradeoff versus the 940 Pro Tactical is a shorter cleaning interval (roughly 750 rounds vs 1,500 on the 940), no factory optic cut, and a more traditional manual of arms. For shooters who want a proven gas-op tactical semi-auto on a budget, the 930 SPX is hard to beat.
