Overview

The Osight R is an enclosed-emitter rifle red dot built around a 2 MOA center dot and 65 MOA ring. The large ring gives the eye a fast reference at close range, while the center dot provides a smaller aiming point for more precise shots. Three buttons on the left side control brightness and provide a dedicated night-vision mode without making the shooter cycle through the daylight settings.

The optic body uses the Aimpoint T1/T2 footprint, so it works with the broad Aimpoint Micro mount ecosystem. Osight includes a standard AR-height Picatinny base and a low-profile Picatinny base. Removable front and rear flip covers protect the lenses, and an optional honeycomb kill flash is available. Osight rates battery life at up to 180,000 hours.
