PSA 5.7 Compact Rock

The PSA 5.7 Compact Rock shortens the full-size Rock while keeping the low recoil and flat trajectory of 5.7x28mm. Its 4.3-inch barrel and 21.9-ounce empty weight make it easier to carry and handle than the 5.2-inch full-size model. The flush-fit steel magazine holds 21 rounds, so the pistol still carries 21+1 without an extended base pad.

The slide is optic ready, and the frame has a Picatinny accessory rail for compact pistol lights. PSA also made the magazine path flexible in one direction: the Compact Rock accepts the full-size Rock's 23-round magazine, although it extends below the grip. The reverse is not true. The compact 21-round magazine does not fit the full-size pistol.

Treat the Compact Rock as its own host when choosing internal parts. PSA states that Compact Rock and full-size Rock frames and slides are not cross-compatible. That boundary matters more than their shared name, especially when selecting replacement slides, frames, or magazines.
