SIG P385-CARRY

The P385-CARRY is the carry configuration of SIG Sauer's P385: a 9mm striker-fired pistol with a 4-inch carbon steel bull barrel, a Nitron stainless steel slide cut for SIG-LOC PRO optics, and a polymer MagStrap grip module on a stainless steel frame. It measures 7.22 inches long, 1.32 inches wide, and 5.64 inches tall, and weighs 28.94 ounces with a magazine.

The P385 is a new design rather than a P320 variant. Its fire control unit carries a Trigger Block that SIG describes as a redundant drop safety that stays flush with the trigger face, so the shooter gets a flat trigger without a protruding safety tab. The SIG Recoil Dampening System sits in the grip module, and interchangeable MagStrap components set grip circumference (small, medium, or large) and grip length, from 17-round flush to 15-round flush. Controls are fully ambidextrous, with a shielded slide release.

Magazines are the practical draw for P320 owners. The P385 runs standard P320 magazines, and the 385CA-9-BXR3 ships with one 17-round and one 21-round steel magazine; original round-basepad P320 magazines need the P385's metal magwell removed. Beyond magazines, SIG lists only the P320 AXG magwell and P-Series dovetailed iron sights as cross-compatible, and P320 and P365 holsters do not fit. The SIG-LOC PRO cut direct-mounts RMR and DPP footprint optics without an adapter plate, and XRAY3 day/night sights come standard.
