SIG Sauer
Revolutionary micro-compact with 10+1 capacity in subcompact size
0-10 Scale Across 8 Axes
The SIG P365 redefined what's possible in a micro-compact pistol. Before its release, concealed carriers had to choose between capacity and size - small guns meant 6-7 rounds, while double-stack guns were too large for pocket or deep concealment carry. The P365 solved this by fitting 10+1 rounds of 9mm into a package smaller than the single-stack Glock 43, creating an entirely new category of high-capacity micro-compacts.
SIG achieved this through innovative magazine design with a proprietary stacked geometry that maximizes capacity while maintaining a slim grip profile. The grip is only slightly wider than single-stack competitors but holds nearly double the ammunition. The striker-fired action delivers a consistent trigger pull around 5.5 pounds with a clean break.
The P365 comes standard with XRAY3 day/night sights - actual tritium night sights, not painted dots. This reflects SIG's understanding that defensive pistols must function in all lighting conditions. The original P365 lacks an accessory rail (added in XL and Macro variants), but the primary mission is deep concealment where lights aren't typically mounted anyway.
