The Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 5-inch is the full-size competition variant of the M&P line, offering the longest barrel and sight radius in the M&P 9mm family. The M2.0 generation brought significant improvements: an upgraded M2.0 trigger with a lighter pull and crisper break, aggressive grip texturing, and four interchangeable palmswell inserts (S/M/ML/L) for custom fit. No other polymer pistol at this price offers four grip sizes in the box.

The 5-inch barrel extracts more velocity from 9mm than shorter-barreled competitors (typically 30-50 fps over 4-inch barrels), and the longer sight radius improves mechanical accuracy.
