A full-scale steel silhouette at 17.375 by 30 inches matches the IPSC cardboard footprint, so the sight picture on steel is the sight picture on match day. The 2/3 scale is the useful one for a short home range: at 20 yards it subtends roughly what the full-size target does at 30, which is how you practice distance you do not have. Precision Targets cuts all three sizes from AR500 in three thicknesses and powder coats them orange. There are no moving parts here, which is the point. A static silhouette records the hit with a paint splash and never eats a shot resetting itself.
