The KRISS Vector Folding Stock Assembly Kit is the factory folder for the original hinge-mount Vectors: Gen 1 and Gen 2 uppers built before the April 2017 revision. Those receivers carry a proprietary integrated hinge at the rear rather than threading or a rail, and this assembly pins straight into it.
Folded, it takes roughly 9.5 inches off overall length, which is most of what makes a Vector transportable in the first place. The kit is polymer and ships with the stock plus a single pivot pin, which is why it lists at $89.99 against $199.99 for the Gen 2.1 folder.
Generation matters more here than on any other Vector part. KRISS states plainly that this stock will not fit a Gen 2.1 Vector and that no adapter exists to make it work. Check the rear of your upper before ordering: an integrated hinge means this part, buffer-tube threading means the Gen 2.1 stock or the KRISS folding stock adapter instead.
