Overview
Midwest Industries' tang-compatible end plate fits stamped AKM-pattern receivers with a 32 mm internal width and adds a rear 1913 rail below the original tang. Retaining the tang avoids cutting the receiver and keeps a path back to conventional fixed-stock furniture.
This part creates the interface; it is not itself a folding hinge. A separate 1913 stock or folding mechanism completes the conversion. Midwest notes that its own Stock Tube Adaptor and Alpha-series stocks must fold to the right because the retained tang occupies the left-side clearance path.
