Overview
The Alpha Series Fixed Beam Stock is the simpler half of Midwest's Alpha stock line: the same 1913 steel clamp, adjustable polymer cheek piece, adjustable butt pad, and three QD sockets as the Alpha folder, on a beam that does not fold or telescope. Midwest lists 13.8 ounces and 8.0 inches added to overall length for the non-folding version.
On a stamped AKM it mounts to a 1913 end plate such as Midwest's tang-compatible MI-AK-PEPAT rather than the factory rear trunnion. Because the beam is fixed length, set length of pull through the butt pad adjustment and pick the folding Alpha stock instead if you need to shorten the rifle for armor.
