Springfield Armory's Kuna Adjustable Folding Stock is the factory OEM stock designed for the Kuna. It attaches directly to the receiver and installs without modification.
A push-button folding mechanism collapses it alongside the gun for storage and transport, and the stock adjusts through four positions to set length of pull. A rubberized butt pad adds traction at the shoulder, and dual integrated QD sockets give two sling attachment points. Springfield lists the stock at 10 inches long extended and 8 inches collapsed.
A shoulder stock on the pistol-length Kuna makes it a short-barreled rifle. Since October 9, 2026, ATF does not enforce Form 1 approval or NFA registration for SBRs, but a Form 20 is still required before interstate travel and state law still applies. Springfield also notes that adding the stock may trigger 922(r) compliance requirements.
