Overview

The Strike Industries FSA Dual Folder is the answer to the most common complaint about side-folding 1913 stocks: most fold one direction, period, and reconfiguring requires disassembly. The Dual Folder uses a steel hinge designed to fold left or right at any time, no flipping, no swapping, no tools. This matters for left-handed shooters who are tired of right-fold-only 1913 stocks, and for anyone who carries the host with the stock folded against the off-side ejection port and runs into clearance issues.

Construction is steel hinge plus 6061-T6 aluminum base, adapter, and strut. Total weight is 9.9 ounces. The stock adds 9.18 inches when extended and only 1.02 inches when folded, which is what a true PDW-class profile looks like collapsed. A 3-degree downward tilt prevents interference with the ejection port when folded to the right side, and rubber pads at the folding adapter let you adjust the lock tension to your preference. Ambidextrous QD sling sockets and a rubber anti-slip buttpad round out the build.

The 1913 mount fits any host that presents a 1913 Picatinny rear interface: Springfield Kuna with its rear end plate, CZ Scorpion EVO 3 via the HBI 1913 adapter, SIG MPX pistol, B&T GHM9, AR pistols with 1913 end plates. This is the Strike Industries answer for shooters who want the FSA Single Folder's profile but need to fold the off-direction. The trade-off is roughly $20 more than the Single Folder for the dual-direction hinge.
