Overview
The Sylvan Arms Picatinny adapter clamps to a bufferless firearm's rear 1913 rail and presents standard 1-3/16x16 receiver-extension threads for an AR tube, stock, or brace. Its B390 aluminum hinge lets the rear assembly fold while leaving a bufferless action free to operate.
Sylvan explicitly states that the host can be fired from the folded position. The tradeoff is retention: the current product page also states that the adapter does not retain in the folded position, so it can swing rather than latch against the receiver during transport.
