The Banish RF 22 Ti, which Silencer Central sold as the Banish 22 before the rename, is the lightest of the top-tier rimfire cans at 4.1 oz, and that weight is the whole argument for it. On a pistol like the Ruger Mark IV or Taurus TX22, a 6.5 oz stainless can hangs off the muzzle and drags the balance forward; the all-titanium Banish keeps the gun pointing naturally. It runs 5-3/8 inches on a 1/2x28 direct thread and is rated for .22 LR and everything smaller, including .22 Hornet, .17 HMR, and 5.7x28.
Silencer Central makes the Banish line and sells it direct, which is the other reason to consider it. The company handles the paperwork and ships the can to your door once the Form 4 clears, rather than routing through a local dealer. The eight-baffle stack disassembles from both ends with Silencer Central's CAN-CLEAN approach, so the lead and carbon that .22 LR dumps into a can come out without a fight.
The tradeoffs are price and configuration. At a $629 list, discounted to $529 during the current sale, it costs more than the stainless SilencerCo Sparrow 22, and it is a single fixed length with no short pistol mode; the separate Banish 22K is the short variant. For a shooter who wants the lightest serviceable can and values the direct-to-door buying path, it earns the premium.
