The Dead Air Ghost 45 is a legacy modular pistol suppressor designed primarily for .45 ACP, 9mm, and subgun applications. Running in short configuration at 6.2 inches or full configuration at 8.75 inches, the Ghost provides flexibility to optimize for either compactness or suppression depending on the host.
The Ghost uses Dead Air's P-Series mount ecosystem for pistons, fixed mounts, 3-lug, KeyMicro, and Xeno accessories. The booster assembly ships with the can but the piston does not, so budget for a P-Series piston (DA401 through DA407) in the host thread pitch. Dead Air's manual is explicit that the booster must never be run on a fixed-barrel host: carbines and subguns take a P-Series fixed mount (DA410 through DA414, DA450) or the DA444 3-lug instead.
While newer designs like the Wolfman have broader current-market support, the Ghost 45 remains a useful dedicated pistol suppressor for shooters who want one modular can across .45 and 9mm hosts.
