The MTM SAC Survivor Ammo Can is the long-term storage specialist in the lineup. Instead of a hinged lid and lever latches, it uses a bucket-style body with a double O-ring lid that clamps down on six stainless steel screws, producing a far more aggressive seal than a standard ammo can. The trade-off is access time: this is a can you open occasionally to rotate stock, not one you crack open at the range.

What sets it apart is that MTM treats long-term corrosion protection as the whole point. Every can ships with a Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor bag to line the interior and a desiccant pack to control humidity, so the moisture defense is built in rather than an afterthought. The 7 inch diameter by 12.4 inch interior holds roughly 500 rounds of .45 ACP or about 16 loaded 30-round metal AR magazines.

This is the can for buried caches, deep storage, and any scenario where the ammunition needs to survive years untouched in an uncontrolled environment.
