Streamlight
350-lumen dual-fuel flashlight accepting both CR123A and AA batteries. Pocket-sized with programmable output modes.
The Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA earns its place in emergency kits through one critical feature: dual-fuel capability. It accepts both CR123A lithium and AA alkaline batteries interchangeably. In an emergency, the ability to use the most commonly available battery on the planet (AA) when your preferred CR123A supply runs out is not a convenience; it is a survival advantage.
On CR123A, the ProTac delivers 350 lumens with a 1.5-hour runtime on high. On AA, output drops to 150 lumens with a 3-hour runtime. Both levels are more than sufficient for navigation, signaling, and task lighting. The programmable Ten-Tap system lets you set the mode sequence to your preference: high-strobe-low, high-only, or low-high. For emergency use, programming high-only eliminates mode cycling when you need light immediately.
The anodized aluminum body is IPX7 waterproof (submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes) and rated for 2-meter drops. A removable pocket clip allows belt or pocket carry. At 4.25 inches and approximately 2.8 ounces (without battery), it adds negligible weight and bulk to any kit. Keep one in every vehicle, every range bag, and every emergency cache, pre-loaded with a CR123A and a spare AA taped to the body.
Add the Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA to your build and see how it enhances your platform.
