Overview
The Otis FG-610 is the best dedicated handgun kit for a pistol-only owner. It covers .22, .357/.38/9mm, .40/10mm, and .45 caliber bores with size-marked bronze brushes, 8 inch and 12 inch Memory-Flex cables, and a 0.5 fl oz tube of Shooter's Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP so it works out of the box. The Memory-Flex cable pulls through the barrel breech-to-muzzle, which is the correct direction for protecting the crown on a semi-auto.
The kit packs into a pocket-sized soft case, so it travels to the range without taking a dedicated bag pocket. An obstruction remover handles stuck cases, and the Bore Reflector+ chamber flag doubles as a safety flag for low-light bore inspection. For someone who owns a 9mm and maybe a .22 trainer, the FG-610 is right-sized and avoids paying for shotgun and rifle hardware they will never use.
