Rocksett High-Temp Adhesive

Rocksett represents the industry-standard ceramic cement adhesive for high-temperature firearm applications, specifically engineered for muzzle device installation and suppressor mount retention. Unlike traditional threadlockers that break down under the extreme temperatures generated by rapid fire and suppressed shooting, Rocksett maintains its holding strength across a temperature range from -350°F to +2,015°F. This extreme temperature tolerance makes it the mandatory choice for pinned and welded muzzle devices on 14.5-inch barrels, suppressor mounts, and any threaded interface subject to significant heat cycling.

The ceramic cement formulation provides a removable-strength bond similar to blue Loctite under normal conditions, but maintains that strength even when barrel temperatures soar during sustained fire. The adhesive acts as both a thread locker and damping material, preventing muzzle devices from vibrating loose during full-auto fire or high-volume training sessions. Application is straightforward: 2-3 drops at the thread start on either component, then assemble to the required torque specification. For optimal curing, heat the joined parts to 175°F for approximately 15 minutes, though the adhesive will cure at room temperature over 24 hours.

A critical advantage of Rocksett over permanent adhesives is its removal method. While the bond withstands extreme heat during shooting, the ceramic cement dissolves in water, allowing complete removal by soaking the threaded area. This reversibility makes Rocksett ideal for suppressor mounts that may need occasional removal for cleaning or replacement, and for pinned muzzle devices that require periodic inspection. The adhesive won't damage threads during removal, preserving component integrity for reinstallation.
