The Mars Trigger Ruger 10/22 Adjustable FRT is a forced reset trigger assembly for the Ruger 10/22. It ships as a complete unit and uses bolt motion to mechanically reset the trigger after each shot while still requiring one trigger pull per round. Mars lists it for the Ruger 10/22 and compatible 10/22-pattern clones, and notes it works with OEM and Volquartsen trigger housings.
The assembly is built from 4140 chromoly alloy steel with stainless steel pins. Both reset distance and pull weight are adjustable, which is the lever that makes a rimfire FRT usable: .22 LR generates far less bolt energy than a centerfire round, so reset tuning is what keeps the trigger cycling reliably. The mechanism is more sensitive to ammunition than the centerfire PC9 unit. Standard-velocity loads and the factory steel bolt may not generate enough velocity to reset consistently, and many owners run higher-velocity ammunition or a lightweight competition bolt to get reliable function.
Installation is a drop-in swap with no permanent modification. Confirm forced reset triggers are legal in your state before buying, and plan to spend range time tuning reset tension and ammunition selection to your specific rifle.
