Texas Trigger USA Norinco SKS FRT

The Texas Trigger USA Norinco SKS FRT is the only forced reset trigger built for the SKS. It replaces the factory trigger group as a plug-and-play unit, uses the rifle's own cycling action to drive the trigger forward against the shooter's finger, and fires one round per trigger pull. The result is a much faster reset than the long, heavy factory SKS pull allows, without altering the rifle's gas system, bolt carrier, or receiver.

Fitment is narrow and the manufacturer is explicit about it: this trigger is designed specifically for Norinco SKS rifles. Texas Trigger USA lists Yugoslavian and Russian SKS rifles as not compatible, and describes support for those patterns as planned for a future release. SKS trigger groups vary in geometry between the Chinese, Yugoslavian, Russian, and Romanian production lines, so a unit built to Norinco dimensions is not a safe bet on a Yugo M59/66 or a Russian Tula rifle. Confirm the rifle's origin before ordering.

Installation is a bench job with no permanent modification: drop the factory trigger group out of the receiver, seat the FRT unit, and reassemble. Function-check the rifle before live fire. The trigger is intended for semi-automatic firearms only, and forced reset trigger legality remains state-specific.
