The Timney SIG MPX drop-in trigger is the cleanest SKU-specific trigger upgrade path for MPX owners who want a complete replacement module instead of trying to tune the factory fire control group. Timney replaces the original trigger assembly with a self-contained module, heat-treated internals, and a factory-tuned 4.5 lb single-stage pull with minimal creep.
Installation is genuinely drop-in. Push the factory FCG out, drop the Timney module in, and reinstall the original pins and safety. No fitting, adjusting, or sear stoning is required.
Timney offers the MPX trigger in straight and curved bow profiles. This trigger is the straight SKU 683; the curved 683S is a separate variant. The straight bow gives a flatter trigger face for shooters who prefer a high, consistent finger index, while the curved bow stays closer to the factory feel.
