Overview

The RCM (Rifle Combat Magwell) flares the AR magwell opening with roughly 175 percent more funnel surface, so a magazine finds its way home when the shooter cannot look at the gun. That is a nice-to-have on a range gun and close to essential on a night vision rifle, where reloads happen by feel under a helmet-mounted device with no useful depth perception.

Because magwell geometry differs between lowers, HRF molds receiver-specific versions rather than one universal wedge: milspec forged AR-15, LMT MARS-L and MARS-H, Aero M4E1 and M5, ADM UIC, Radian ADAC, SIG M400 and MCX, HK, B&T, and SCAR fits are all catalogued, with heavy RCM H versions for large-frame rifles. Order the variant that matches the host lower. The 2026 revision uses an improved injection-molded polymer and comes in black, FDE, and OD green.
