Rimfire pistols jam, and the TX22 slide serrations are shallow enough that clearing one under a timer with sweaty hands is genuinely awkward. The halo Charging Ring solves that by wrapping the rear of the slide in an aluminum ring the shooter can hook with a single finger and pull straight back. It turns a two-hand pinch grip into a one-finger motion, which is why it shows up on so many rimfire steel guns.

Because it clamps rather than bolts, there are no screws sticking out, no holes to drill, and nothing permanent done to the pistol. TANDEMKROSS builds it from lightweight anodized aluminum so it adds no meaningful weight to the reciprocating mass, which matters on a blowback .22 where slide mass is part of the timing. It is ambidextrous, and TANDEMKROSS states it works with holsters rather than forcing an open-top rig.

Fitment covers the standard TaurusTX 22, the TX22 Competition, the TX22 Compact, and the TX22 Gen 2. Black and red anodize are offered and are functionally identical. The halo is host-specific across the TANDEMKROSS line, so a Mark IV or SW22 Victory owner needs the version cut for that slide, not this one.
