CCI
The cheapest reliable 9mm ammo you can buy. Aluminum cases keep costs below brass, and CCI's legendary primers deliver the same ignition consistency as Blazer Brass. The trade-off: cases are not reloadable.
CCI Blazer Aluminum strips the cost of 9mm training to its minimum without sacrificing reliability. The aluminum cases cost less to manufacture than brass, and since CCI doesn't need to produce reloadable-quality metallurgy, those savings pass directly to the shooter. The result is 9mm ammo at $0.20-0.24 per round in bulk, the lowest per-round cost for domestically manufactured ammunition.
The 115-grain FMJ bullet and CCI primer are identical to Blazer Brass. The only difference is the case material. Aluminum cases extract cleanly from modern chambers, and CCI's primers fire with the same consistency. Functionally, a round of Blazer Aluminum performs identically to Blazer Brass at the range.
The trade-off is simple: aluminum cases cannot be reloaded. Handloaders should buy Blazer Brass instead. Additionally, some indoor ranges prohibit aluminum-cased ammunition because their brass recycling systems cannot easily separate aluminum, and aluminum cases cannot be resold to reloaders. Check your range's policy before buying in bulk.
