Overview
Buffalo Bore Item 20D is a standard-pressure 150-grain hard-cast wadcutter intended for short 38 Special revolvers. The maker advertises 850 fps and publishes results from 868 fps in a 2-inch Model 60 to 1,005 fps in a 4-inch Mountain Gun. Independent bare-gel testing supports deep penetration, but no source in this research measured recoil, so it should not be described as a no-recoil load.
