Overview
Hornady Custom 9112 loads a 200-grain XTP bullet at a cataloged 900 fps and 360 ft-lbs from a 5-inch test barrel. It is a standard-pressure middle-weight option between 185-grain carry loads and traditional 230-grain ammunition.
The XTP is a conventional expanding bullet rather than a hard-cast solid. Use it for the middle-weight comparison, not as a substitute for a deep-penetrating woods load.
