Winchester Ranger T-Series 147-grain (RA9T) is the evolution of the legendary Black Talon, featuring Winchester's reverse-taper jacket design that produces distinctive sharp-petaled expansion. In gel testing, the 147gr Ranger-T achieved the widest expansion of any 9mm load tested: 0.745 inches average expanded diameter with 16.46 inches of penetration.

The taloned petals that define the Ranger-T's expansion create an aggressive wound channel. The reverse-taper jacket is engineered so the thicker base of the jacket drives expansion outward while maintaining structural integrity. At 147 grains and 941 fps, it's a subsonic load suitable for suppressed use.
