Slim Crossbody Concealed Carry Purse (GTM-98)

The GTM-98 is the slim crossbody in Gun Tote'n Mamas' line, and it is the shape that makes off-body carry defensible rather than a compromise. The gun compartment is 9.5 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall with its own vertical coil zippers on the left and right, so the bag draws the same way regardless of which hand you use. The zippers are nylon coil rather than metal teeth, which matters at the one place on the bag where your hand and a trigger guard are in the same space.

Retention comes from a hook-and-loop panel anchored to the compartment wall, not stuck to the lining, and the bag ships with a GTM holster designed by Mernickle Holsters. If you already run a CrossBreed, the panel accepts that too, so the holster you have trained with can move into the bag.

The rest of the bag is a working handbag: a zip-top main compartment, an embedded front wallet organizer, two open interior pockets, and a back-wall zippered pocket, in a 10 by 9.75 by 3.125 inch USA cowhide body. Off-body carry always trades draw speed and constant physical control for the ability to carry in clothing that cannot support a belt holster; the GTM-98 is for the carrier who has already accepted that trade and wants the compartment built correctly.
