TANDEMKROSS Comet 10.2" Lightweight Barrel (Ruger 22 Charger)

The Comet is the 22 Charger version of TANDEMKROSS's shrouded barrel design, cut to 10.2 inches for a pistol receiver. The stainless barrel sits inside an aluminum shroud that holds it in tension for rigidity, and the shroud is cut for M-LOK so a bipod, light, or the Rim/Edge Eagle Eye fiber optic sight set mounts directly to the barrel assembly. The whole thing weighs 8.2 oz with the thread protector installed and 7.9 oz without, which matters more on a Charger than on a rifle because the entire firearm is only about three pounds.

The barrel is turned and machined from premium stainless with a hardened chamber face, twisted 1:16, and threaded 1/2x28 at the muzzle with a thread protector and O-ring already installed. That thread pitch is the .22 LR standard, so any rimfire suppressor, flash hider, or TANDEMKROSS compensator mounts without an adapter. Finishes are black PVD, gold TiN, or stainless, with the anodized shroud in black or red.

Read the fitment before ordering. The Comet is for fixed-barrel Ruger 22 Charger models and clone actions taking fixed barrels; it does not fit takedown 10/22 or 22 Charger models. Because the barrel is shorter than 16 inches, it belongs on a pistol receiver, a clone receiver not built or marked as a rifle receiver, or an NFA registered receiver. The .920 outside diameter needs bull-channel furniture, and TANDEMKROSS recommends its own or the factory barrel retaining v-block. Some minor fitting can be required since receiver dimensions vary, and M-LOK fasteners may need shortening to clear the barrel. TANDEMKROSS will not ship this barrel to California, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, or Washington.
