TANDEMKROSS Spitfire 16.5" Lightweight Barrel (Ruger 10/22)

The Spitfire is the first 10/22 barrel that lets you hang accessories on the barrel itself. The construction is a thin-profile stainless steel barrel inside an aluminum shroud that holds it in tension, and TANDEMKROSS cut the shroud for M-LOK so a light, a bipod, or the Rim/Edge Eagle Eye fiber optic sight set mounts directly without a handguard or a rail adapter. Because the shroud is doing the tensioning, the barrel keeps bull-profile rigidity while the whole assembly weighs 11.5 oz with the thread protector installed and 11.2 oz without.

The numbers matter for a competition rifle. A steel .920 bull barrel puts a pound and a half out front and makes transitions slow; the Spitfire keeps the .920 outside diameter that stocks and chassis are cut for while landing under a pound. The stainless barrel is turned from premium stock with a hardened chamber face, the twist is 1:16, and the muzzle carries standard 1/2x28 threads with a thread protector and O-ring in the box, so rimfire cans and TANDEMKROSS compensators thread on with nothing else to buy. Finishes are black PVD, gold TiN, or stainless, with the anodized shroud in black or red.

Fitment is narrower than a plain replacement barrel and worth reading twice. This is a fixed-barrel part only: it does not fit takedown models of the 10/22 or 22 Charger, and it does not fit Custom Shop 10/22 Competition rifles. The .920 diameter requires a bull-channel stock or chassis. It works with factory and TANDEMKROSS barrel retaining v-blocks but not with adjustable v-blocks. Some minor fitting can be needed because receiver dimensions vary, and M-LOK fasteners may need shortening so they do not contact the barrel. TANDEMKROSS does not ship this barrel to Illinois, New Jersey, or New York.
