The KAK Industry Enhanced 9mm Bolt Carrier Group uses 8620 steel with a nitride finish and weighs 15.42 ounces. It works with Glock- or Colt-pattern magazines and all hammer types. The steel-weighted carrier uses a properly staked gas key machined from 4130 billet. Its properly heat-treated 8740 steel firing pin is chrome plated, and its fully machined M16 extractor is phosphate coated. KAK rates the BCG for full-auto use.
KAK states that this BCG is compatible with cassette-style FRTs and Trigger Kicker. Selector-style forced reset systems still require the internal weight to be notched or a pre-cut carrier.
