Overview
The Diamondback HD is the honest budget answer for a first serious hunting binocular. It will not resolve the last few percent of detail a Conquest HDX or Razor UHD pulls off a shaded hillside, but it gives a new hunter dielectric-coated HD glass, a light magnesium body, and Vortex's no-questions VIP warranty for the price of a decent scope. For a whitetail hunter working timber and field edges out to a few hundred yards, it is more binocular than the price suggests.
