Overview

The BoreBuddy Premium Ambidextrous AR22 Charging Handle is a dedicated-rimfire control for CMMG-pattern .22 LR uppers. Its latch can be worked from either side, and the all-metal body avoids the flex of inexpensive molded charging handles.

Fitment is narrow by design. BoreBuddy lists it for dedicated uppers using BoreBuddy, CMMG, Right to Bear, or Palmetto State Armory style .22 LR bolts. The shortened underside clears a rimfire bolt, but it does not have the geometry needed for a chamber-adapter conversion kit.

It also is not a centerfire AR charging handle. The product page warns that a centerfire gas key and gas tube interfere with it. Use it only when the upper stays dedicated to .22 LR.
